Route Updates
REROUTE ALERTS:
The Jason Hargrove Transit Center is now open at Eight Mile Road and Woodward Avenue. DDOT routes using the new transit center are 4-Woodward, 12-Conant, 17-Eight Mile, 30-Livernois, and 54-Wyoming.
From Wednesday, May 15, through Monday, July 1, DTE will be working at Fort Street and W. Grand Boulevard. Reroute is as follows:
27-Joy Eastbound: From W. Grand Boulevard, to left on Vernor, to right on 21st, to left on Bagley, to right on Rosa Parks Blvd., to left on Lafayette, to continue as normal.
27-Joy Westbound: From Lafayette, to right on Rosa Parks, to left on Bagley, to right on 21st, to left on Vernor, to right on W. Grand Blvd., to continue as normal.
On Saturday, May 18, Highland Park will host the Michigan Day Parade. Hamilton will be closed from Tuxedo to Pitkin from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reroutes are as follows:
15-Chicago/Davison Eastbound: From Davison, onto the Davison Freeway, to the Woodward exit, to left on Woodward, to right on Manchester, to continue as normal.
15-Chicago/Davison Westbound: From Third, to left on Grand, to right on Woodward, to right on Davison, onto the Davison Freeway, back onto Davison, to continue as normal.
23-Hamilton Northbound: From Hamilton, to right on Webb, to left on Second, to right on Pilgrim, to right on Hamilton, to continue as normal.
23-Hamilton Southbound: From Hamilton, to left on Midland, to right on Third, to right on Webb, to left on Hamilton, to continue as normal.
39-Puritan Eastbound: Right on Linwood, to left on Fenkell, to right on Oakman, to left on 14th, to left on Davison, onto the Davison Freeway, to the Woodward exit, to left on Woodward, to right on Manchester, to continue as normal.
39-Puritan Westbound: From Manchester, to left on Second, to left on Grand, to right on Woodward, to right on Davison, onto the Davison Freeway, back onto Davison, to right on Rosa Parks Blvd., to right on Linwood, to left on Puritan, to continue as normal.
43-Schoolcraft Eastbound: From Oakman, to right on 14th, to left on Davison, onto the Davison Freeway, to the Woodward exit, to left on Woodward, to right on Manchester, to continue as normal.
43-Schoolcraft Westbound: From Manchester, to left on Third, to right on Grand, to right on Davison, onto the the Davison Freeway, to right on Rosa Parks Blvd., to left on Oakman, to continue as normal.
Starting Sunday, May 19, through Monday, June 10, Jefferson Ave. will be closed for the Grand Prix race and preparations. Reroutes are as follows:
3-Grand River Eastbound: From Larned, to left on St. Antoine, to left on Congress, to lay over at Congress and St. Antoine. Passengers may board on Congress.
3-Grand River Westbound: From Congress, to right on Griswold, to left on Michigan, to continue as normal.
6-Gratiot Westbound: Right on Congress, to right on Griswold, to left on Michigan, to left on Third, to continue as normal.
6-Gratiot Eastbound: No detours.
9-Jefferson Westbound: From Jefferson to right on Mt. Elliott, to left on Larned, into Congress, to right on Griswold, to left on Michigan, to right on Cass, to continue as normal.
9-Jefferson Eastbound: From Larned, to right on Mt. Elliott, to left on Jefferson, to continue as normal.
16-Dexter Southbound: From Cass, to left on Times Square, to lay over at Rosa Parks Transit Center.
16-Dexter Northbound: From Times Square, to right on Grand River, to right on Washington Blvd., to right on Michigan, to continue as normal.
5-Van Dyke/Lafayette, 40-Russell, 52-Chene, 67-Cadillac/Harper Inbound: Right on Congress, to right on Griswold, to left on Michigan, to right on Cass, to regular.
5-Van Dyke/Lafayette, 40-Russell, 52-Chene, 67-Cadillac/Harper Outbound: No detours.
4-Woodward Southbound, beginning May 29: From Woodward, to right on Clifford, to left on Bagley, to left on Cass, to left on Times Square, to lay over at Rosa Parks Transit Center.
4-Woodward Northbound, beginning May 29: From Times Square, to right on Grand River, to left on Woodward, to continue as normal.
There is a reroute in place around Belle Isle:
12-Conant Southbound: From the MacArthur Bridge, to left on Casino Way, to Central Way, to right on Picnic Way, to left on Loiter Way, to straight to the stop on Conservatory Drive, to lay over at the temporary stop.
12-Conant Northbound: From the turnaround on Conservatory Drive, to left on Loiter Way, to right on Picnic Way, to left on Riverbank Drive, to the MacArthur Bridge, to continue as normal.
Rosa Parks Transit Center is closed every night between midnight and 4 a.m. for cleaning. RPTC will re-open at 4 a.m. daily for normal transit operations.

Westbound Northland Drive is closed. Reroutes are as follows (updated 4/16):
10-Greenfield Northbound: From Greenfield, to left on the Lodge Service Drive, to drop off and pick up at bus stop on Lodge Service Drive just past Northland Drive, to continue on Lodge Service Drive, to left on J.L. Hudson Drive, to left on Lodge Service Drive, to continue as normal.
10-Greenfield Southbound: No detours.
16-Dexter Northbound: From Greenfield, to left on the Lodge Service Drive, to drop off at bus stop on Lodge Service Drive just past Northland Drive, to continue on Lodge Service Drive, to continue as normal.
16-Dexter Southbound: No detours.
17-Eight Mile Westbound: From Eight Mile, to right on Lodge Service Drive, to drop off at bus stop on Lodge Service Drive just past Northland Drive, to continue on Lodge Service Drive, to left on J.L. Hudson Drive, to left on Lodge Service Drive, to continue as normal.
17-Eight Mile Eastbound: No detours.
